Recently we had the pleasant experience of installing a timber louvre window in the bathroom of a local home.
The old aluminium sliding window in the bathroom could not be opened due to the obvious privacy issues for our home owner and therefore had to go.
We installed a new timber louvre window which allowed for both ventilation and privacy.
Additionally we were able to allow more light into the bathroom as the property is on an elevated block meaning that the homeowner can keep the top panes of the window clear to add more light whilst enjoying the view outside without compromising privacy.

More About Timber Louvre Windows
Modern louvre windows seal much better than they did years ago so no more rattling in the wind or letting the bugs in.
Louvre windows are also stronger than they used to be so from a security standpoint it is difficult to remove a pane of glass in order to break in.
Additionally we install a stainless steel safety mesh for added security so you can leave your louvres open without compromising security.
From a maintenance perspective cleaning the outside of the windows is simple from inside. You simply need to open the louvres and wipe the blades. No climbing on ladders and removing flyscreens to clean your window.
Of course louvre windows also allow simple control of the airflow through the room.
In the above installation we were able to mix the opacity of the glass panes used in the louvres to maximise privacy for our client whilst allowing them the continue to get the benefit of the lovely view they have from that window.
