It’s summer, and if you have a pool you are probably using it a lot right now. If you have a pool house, it could also mean your pool house doors are showing signs of wear and tear. If so, it may be time to replace them.
Pool houses come in many shapes and sizes. Some may be more accurately called pool sheds. Others may be more like pool mansions. We have seen our share of both. But whether yours is a pool shed or a pool mansion, it needs a good pool house door.
For many, pool house doors are just things that open and shut and let you in or out. But a nicely done pool house door can make a big difference in both the aesthetic and the function of your pool house.
What Kind of Doors Make Great Pool House Doors?
We offer pretty much any kind of door that will work for your pool house. We end up making a lot of bifold doors for pool houses that face the pool. These are great because they can even open up the entire width of your wall if you want them too. This is a great way to go because it fully integrates the pool house with the pool. It can also turn the pool house into a shaded party area that is in full view of the pool and allows you to fully interact with those in the pool without getting wet.
Sometimes, parents like to use the pool house as a more supervisory area while the kids are in the pool. This can be done with the bifold door setup, but can also be done with a smaller door and bifold windows turned into servery windows. This can allow the parent to dispense food and beverages to children or other guests from the pool house. They are close enough to be a part of the action and to act fast in case of emergencies.
