Aneeta windows are sashless windows. They are the only product we provide that doesn’t have a timber frame, though we can build one within a timber frame or a timber door if you like.
How Aneeta Windows Work
Aneeta windows consist of two panes of glass within a window but without the sash. They have a small overlap to produce a seal and for strength and structural integrity. They open on both ends as the panes slide towards each other. This leaves an opening on the top of the window and one on the bottom, often resulting in circular ventilation within one window.
Why You Might Love Aneeta Windows
We can insert an Aneeta window within a solid timber door. This allows your door to have a window. It also allows you to have ventilation through a door that is locked, providing ventilation and security at the same time.
An insect screen is easily placed over the insert, meaning you don’t have to have a second door with a screen to get ventilation. Aneeta windows are especially popular in apartments for the main entry doors.
There are few elements in an Aneeta window but those which exist are easy to clean and maintain.
One of the more creative designs we have seen is to install Aneeta windows in one or more panels of a bifold door system. This allows you to ventilate your home without opening the bifold door. It’s like getting the benefits of a sliding door and a bifold door at the same time.
Aneeta windows are available in a number of different configurations but are limited to three sizes: 6mm, 10mm and 16mm. However, this is more than enough as we can always customise the door or window around it.
